We are known for high purity solvents and we cover various ranges of solvents from reputable manufacturers across Europe and Asia.
A solvent is a liquid, solid or gas that dissolves another solid, liquid or gaseous solute to form a solution that is soluble in a certain volume of solvent at a specified temperature. Solvents are either organic or inorganic.
Our organic solvents find use in dry cleaning, paint thinners, nail polish removers, adhesives or glue solvents, spot removers, detergents, perfumes and chemical analysis whereas the inorganic solvents find limited use in research chemistry and some technological processes.

Generally, a good solvent should meet the following criteria.

• be inert to the reaction conditions

• Should be able to dissolve reactants and reagents

• Should have appropriate boiling point and

• Should be easily removed at the end of the reaction.

Solvents are classified into three categories.

• Polar Protic Solvents (they contain R-O-H in their chains for example water, methanol and acetic acid)

• Dipolar Aprotic Solvents (Contain C=O instead of O-H in their chain for example ethyl acetate and acetone )

• Non Polar Solvents (Have low dielectric constants and are not miscible with water. For example, Benzene, Carbon Tetra Chloride and Di Ethyl Ether).
